Medium format Film
As I use the Hasselblad V-system, I'll often swap between film formats. This versatility allows me to work in whichever way I deem fit in my given environment. Of course, carrying additional equipment has its drawbacks so Instant film still remains my primary film type.
I taught myself film development in my teens as shop-bought-development was most certainly not within my budget. I started with a simple 1-step-developing kit for B&W 35mm film. When I grew in confidence, so did my set-up. I still develop some of my film myself, a couple of developing tanks and equipment crowd my living room cupboards. Though, this year, I started sending some rolls to be developed elsewhere. The option to have film developed in bulk opens me up to new opportunities.
