Switchboard is a charity for LGBTQ+ people looking for a sense of community, support or information. They connect people and support them directly through specially developed Switchboard services or link them other specialist organisations.

Why is it important?

Housing a variety of specialty services means attendants can receive help specific to their needs. Services not specifically developed for LGBT+ people can cause anxiety in LGBT+ people (for fear of discrimination or misunderstanding) or may simply not be relevant enough. Finding services that meets your needs and works nationally or locally can be tough, Switchboard eases these concerns significantly.

What can I do?

There are a few different donation options available via their website. You can choose to donate one-time, leave a gift in your will (a legacy donation) or become a reoccurring donator.
